When do I need to RSVP by?

Please be on the look out for this information on your RSVP card in your forthcoming invitation.

What is the weather in Park City like in July?

We’re expecting highs to be around 80 degrees and lows to be around 50 degrees next July.  It will likely be sunny and 75 around our 6:00pm ceremony start time.

What should I wear?

The welcome-party attire is semi-formal, but a little Western flare is encouraged.  The bride and groom will be donning cowboy hats.  For anyone who cares to match, we recommend swinging by Kemo Sabe on Main Street for a lickety-split custom hat.

The wedding attire is black-tie optional.  The ceremony will be outdoors.  The reception will be both indoor and outdoor.  Ladies, for shoe-planning-purposes, the ceremony will take place on gravel.

Will there be shuttles?

Yes!  There will be a shuttle service both to the ceremony and from the reception on Saturday.  Please note that all guests will need to take the shuttle; there is no parking on-site.  More details on shuttle routes and times will be sent with the formal invitation.

Should I rent a car?

We recommend renting a car, but you could get by without one.  Ubers are easy to get in Park City, and most hotels will run complementary shuttles to all the action on Main Street.  But having a car makes it easier to see and do all that PC has to offer.

Where should I stay?

Please see our Travel & Stay page for hotel recommendations!  If you would like to stay elsewhere, please do, but note that shuttle pick-ups and drop-offs will be close to our recommended hotels.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your kiddos, and Park City is a great place for a family vacay in the summer! Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions, we can only accommodate the adults listed on your invitation for the Saturday evening ceremony and reception. But we’re happy to host the rest of your family traveling with you at the welcome party on Friday.

What else should we do while we’re here?

If you find yourself with some free time outside of the festivities, we recommend getting out and enjoying the fresh air! Park City has great walking, hiking, and mountain biking trails, as well as plenty of fishing, boating, and golfing options. Heading to the base of Park City Mountain is a great place to start; in the summer the mountain base has an alpine slide, mountain coaster, and ski lifts that will take you to the top for some incredible views and hiking trails.

Most of the bars/restaurants you’ll want to check out are on the historic and charming Main Street in Old Town. You also can’t make a trip to PC without stopping by Java Cow for some ice cream.

If you need help setting anything up, feel free to reach out!

Why Park City, Utah?

Emily and Ari’s first trip together was to Park City! Ari and his family have been part-timers there for over 20 years, and are hoping to convince Emily’s family to do the same. It’s our hope that by sharing Park City with you—our friends, family, and loved ones—this little ski town might also become a special place for you too.

P.S.: on the infamous first trip, Emily got stuck in knee-deep powder on the “Widowmaker” run. Immediately, Ari dashed into action and rescued Emily from the clutches of a snowy demise (i.e., Emily rescued herself while Ari was huffing and puffing trying futilely to crawl his way up to her). Later that night to celebrate Emily’s rescue, the two took themselves out to dinner, only to get the car stuck and stranded in snow just minutes from the restaurant. Ari valiantly called a tow truck to rescue them both.

Are there any traditions I can help participate in?

Just a few! At the end of the ceremony, be sure to yell Mazel Tov after the groom steps on the glass. And at the reception, we’d love to see you do the Horah! If you’ve never done the Horah before, here’s a video on how to join in on this fun Jewish dance. (Don’t overthink it though, and don’t worry! We’ll let you know when it’s happening—it’s easy to join in.)
